Voice Over IP (VOIP) has become a very important part of the network engineers job in today’s new IT department. Cisco has added a new certification to their CCNA program (CCNA Voice) to prepare new Cisco engineers for this exciting technology. This lab is an effort to help students configure and demonstrate the basic operation of this technology.

The CCIE lab exam is a requirement to obtain your CCIE certification. The lab is an eight-hour, hands-on exam which requires you to configure and troubleshoot a series of complex networks to given specifications. Knowledge of troubleshooting is an important skill and candidates are expected to diagnose and solve issues as part of the CCIE lab exam. This lab exams cost US$1400 per attempt and the failure rate is high about 80 percent, so practice labs are very important part of the preparation for passing this exam on the first try.

This lab scenario will test your knowledge of all aspects of the CCNA certification. You will configure a network with IP and IPX across Frame Relay, ISDN, Ethernet, Token Ring, and point to point connections. You will also configure and redistribute RIP, IGRP and EIGRP routing protocols.
